Governments around the world obviously couldn’t get enough of the COVID-19 pandemic, and are now laying the groundwork for another virus outbreak. A recent report published by the Financial Times reveals almost 60 maximum biosafety level 4 labs (BSL-4) are planned in 23 countries across the globe, including the UK, US, India, and (you guessed it) China.

What’s worse is that, according to the FT, about half of the labs are located in urban areas. This despite the fact that the Wuhan Institute of Virology is, most likely, responsible for the coronavirus outbreak and Chinese Premier Xi Jinping even allowed infected Chinese to travel abroad despite Wuhan being locked down.

As the FT explains, the purposes of the labs can be used for dual purposes (military or civilian) and, as these labs proliferate, the greater danger to the world is clear. Leaks occur often and planned or accidental leaks could be in our future. From the FT:

“In the US, the health department and the Centers for Disease Control jointly monitor the use of 67 different types of toxins and other potentially dangerous materials. Their latest report found that in the US in 2019, such substances were lost 13 times and accidentally released 219 times. This led to over 1,000 people undergoing medical assessments, and some taking preventive drugs.”

The people who did not become ill were lucky and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) plans to build more BSL-4 laboratories, like the one in Wuhan. However, even the Wuhan lab’s director, Yuan Ziming, authored a review of the safety problems at China’s laboratories stating (as per the FT):

““Several high-level BSLs have insufficient operational funds for routine yet vital processes,” Yaun wrote, adding that maintenance costs were “generally neglected.””

While China did pass a new law requiring the country’s labs to improve their deficiencies, as we all now know the entire Chinese state conducts itself with deception and lies. To paraphrase Cuban Communist megalomaniac Che Guevara, 2, 3, many COVID-19’s!
