Former Virginia State Climatologist and climate skeptic Dr. Patrick Michaels passed away on July 15th. He was an outspoken critic of the so-called consensus on man-made climate change, but did not take his conclusions personally. According to the Cato Institute, even climate scientist and Al Gore mentor James Hansen said that Pat was a good guy to have a beer with.
