CNN‘s Don Lemon twice tried to argue with acting NOAA Hurricane Center director Jaime Rohme if Hurricane Ian’s intensity is the result of human-caused climate change. The exchange got testy for sure.

This isn’t the first time Lemon has been slapped down for trying to further an agenda on air. Last week, a British commentator put Lemon in his place when he tried to make the case that the royal family should pay reparations for slavery.

As far as Lemon is concerned, never let a major weather event go to waste. Especially since many in his field are hoping for Florida’s governor, Ron DeSantis, to fail.
