Last week, 8 dolphins washed up on a New Jersey beach who later passed away. In the past 6 years, over 300 humpbacks, right whales, and minkes (a small whale species) washed up on the East Coast only to die later. Not surprisingly, so-called experts deny that offshore wind turbines contribute to this problem. None the less, House Republican lawmakers are now demanding that off-shore wind turbine construction be halted because of incidents like this.
