Rice is a very important food for humans to consume (especially in poverty-stricken countries) to ensure their survival and that is all the more reason for environmentalists to target it, like they’ve opposed GMO crop production in places like Africa and the Philippines.

First fossil fuels, then meat and now rice is a large contributor to greenhouse gases that cause climate change. All you have to do is look at the data about why this is happening (to kill off human beings).
