Earlier this month, Just Stop Oil sparked a furious online reaction after reportedly blocking an ambulance on a bridge in London as they protested the UK government’s issuing more licenses for oil and gas projects. Just Stop Oil’s social media accounts tried to blame the city’s Metropolitan Police for blocking the ambulance, but other social media accounts monitoring the events weren’t having it and pushed back.
