Thursday on X, the group Climate Defiance posted a video attempting to show how stunning and brave they are by disrupting an awards event for Alaska U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski. However, the video actually reveals how stunningly idiotic the cultists were.
About six hoodlums charged the stage where Murkowski was speaking while holding a banner. A brawl broke out while security attempted to remove the misfits. One of the cultists fell off the stage while others fell over a table soon after, with all of them landing on top of one another. In other words, it was mostly peaceful.
The cultists were eventually removed and failed miserably. The only thing they accomplished was making fools of themselves and once the cultists were kicked out, the Daily Beast says the event continued as if nothing happened. Consequently, the disruption was, rightly, ridiculed on Twitter X.
Environmentalist groups have made utter nuisances of themselves by blocking highways, vandalizing historic monuments and works of art, disrupt events or other areas of people’s lives to the point where most of the general public has had enough of their antics including the awful effects of the policies they advocate for. The negative reactions to this latest charade is a clear indication of that.
