But environmentalism isn’t a religion. No, really!

After years of causing widespread panic with unscientific and apocalyptic predictions about environmental disasters—predictions that never materialized—the Left is surprised that some people are feeling anxious about it. Now, they’ll, likely, introduce yet another trendy college major: eco-chaplain.

Here’s the main reason why this new position was created:

Sustaining Climate Activists arose out of a sense of being overwhelmed. In 2016, several activists affiliated with Southern Oregon Climate Action Now, a non-profit advocacy group based in Medford, Ore., came together after the presidential election of Donald Trump.

“Trump’s election freaked everyone out,” said Alan Journet, who co-founded the Medford advocacy group with his wife, Kathy Conway. “Group members wanted a way to deal with fears and anxieties about climate and politics.”

Even though Trump was President for four years, the world didn’t end and their anxiety is likely to get worse when he is re-elected. This is, ultimately, a prison of their own making. Now there are climate chaplains and over multiple new genders after the Left sought to remove Christianity from public life done in the name of science and rationality.

Be careful with what you wish for!
