While the Hurricane Helene death toll keeps going up, CNN reports teams are experiencing problems delivering aid to regions cut off by floods and debris and, unfortunately, more rain could be on the way. The cat is out of the bag too. Shockingly, but not surprisingly enough, FEMA’s website essentially says that keeping American citizens alive during a natural disaster is not a priority. The agency’s primary focus is about equity and nothing more.

Shortly after President Joe Biden assumed office, one of his initial appointments was former White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice to head the Domestic Policy Council. She was charged with ensuring that agencies prioritize rooting out systemic racism as their objectives.

FEMA’s response to the Helene Hurricane is the result. On Sunday, President Biden chose not to commit additional resources to Americans facing what officials describe as unprecedented devastation.

However, making resources shortly after the storm does not indicate that they were readily available for deployment in the first place. FEMA’s insufficient proactive measures obviously reflect the values outlined by the federal government.

Residents of flooded towns throughout Appalachia have been compelled to depend on charitable relief efforts days after a Category 4 hurricane caused massive devastation in communities that seem neglected by the federal government. As Hurricane Helene formed over the Atlantic, the country’s leading disaster agency appeared more focused on issues of equity and climate resilience than on emergency preparedness.

The bottom line is, if you’re a heterosexual, White person, the Biden-Harris administration is essentially saying drop dead since addressing the aftermath of the Hurricane Helene disaster is too inconvenient for their ideological agenda.

The hate coming out of the woodwork directed at these poor people is mind boggling.
