The Left knows no bounds to how despicable they are.

A state judicial panel is recommending that Montana’s Republican attorney general be suspended from practicing law for 90 days for openly defying court orders and repeatedly attacking the integrity of justices in his defense of a law permitting the state’s Republican governor to directly fill judicial vacancies.

The law at issue was part of a nationwide GOP effort to forge a more conservative judiciary and was eventually upheld by Montana’s Supreme Court.

Both sides have up to 30 days to object to Wednesday’s recommendation by the five-member Commission on Practice and another 30 days to respond to objections before the Supreme Court hands down its decision. Five of Montana’s seven justices filed motions Thursday to recuse themselves from ruling on the punishment, meaning they would likely be replaced by state District Court judges.

The people behind this effort to bring disciplinary action against Montana’s attorney general is the Montana Commission on Practice and it is reportedly controlled by Democrats. In short, this is another form of lawfare and it is highly doubtful that Montana’s attorney general is guilty of the misconduct he’s accused of. Even the 65 Project is spearheading a nationwide effort to purge conservative and Republican attorneys (like former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani) whom they deem a threat.

Worst of all, aside from Texas AG Ken Paxton and few others, there are hardly any conservative AGs or DAs left in the country. The Left dominates state bar associations on the national and local level and is gradually taking their opponents down one by one. Their latest victim is Montana AG Austin Knudsen, who may have his law license suspended for 90 days. This on top of attorneys willing to represent people like Donald Trump or Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake.

The Sixth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees people accused of crimes to have assistance of counsel for their defense. But what happens if there are little to no attorneys available to defend Trump supporters or other individuals the Left decides are enemies from being accused of crimes they didn’t commit or even challenge election outcomes?
