Biden EPA Acted Quickly To Dole Out Billions To Political Friends

Documents obtained by the watchdog group Protect the Public’s Trust (PPT) reveal the Biden EPA quickly allocated billions in taxpayer funds last year to give to Democrat-affiliated environmentalist organizations without securing firm agreements.

According to files obtained by the Daily Caller, the Biden EPA distributed grants through the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF), a $20 billion initiative tied to nonprofits connected to Democrat contributors and accomplices. The timeline permitted modifications to grant terms even after funds were allocated. With a September 2024 deadline to distribute the taxpayer money, the documents say EPA staff were instructed to postpone addressing unresolved questions and issues to meet the award deadline.

Though the funds were legally allocated during August of last year, the Daily Caller also reveals the Biden EPA outlined a schedule that pushed the revision of terms and conditions beyond the September 2024 deadline, aiming to address unresolved issues by December 31, 2024. Another slide highlights the approaching deadline and suggests that EPA staff must acknowledge that not all issues will be settled before the award is granted.

Fortunately, Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act eliminated the GGRF program and canceled its remaining unspent funds. The agency’s inspector general, along with the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI, are probing the GGRF for possible fraud and misuse of taxpayer money, with Zeldin repeatedly citing the program as a prime example of corruption during the Biden administration.

Several of the recipients of the funds successfully sued the EPA to have the money in question released to them. Fortunately, an appeals court intervened to halt the lower court’s decision.

The entire climate alarmist racket should be thoroughly investigated and dismantled. Human-induced climate change primarily serves as a tool for leftist politicians and bureaucrats to impose rules and regulations aimed at controlling the public while financially benefiting from their hysterical claims and wrongdoing.
