In an obvious effort to get ahead of the truth, Democrats and media quickly attributed the destructive Palisades Fire in Los Angeles to climate change and oil companies. However, on Wednesday, federal authorities charged Biden donor Jonathan Rinderknecht with intentionally starting the fire, undermining that narrative.
Rinderknecht faces one count of property destruction by fire, with a potential 20-year prison sentence. Acting U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli stated that while the victims’ losses cannot be undone, the criminal case aims to deliver justice.
The charge is supported by witness statements, surveillance footage, cell phone data, and fire dynamics analysis by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, contradicting the earlier claims made by prominent Democrats and media.
After prosecutors announced the charge against Rinderknecht on Wednesday, Governor Newsom (who initially blamed the fires on climate change) wrote it marks an important step toward uncovering how the horrific Palisades Fire began.

Not surprisingly, multiple major media outlets (like The New York Times, Associated Press, and NPR) along with their pundits and reporters attributed the Palisades Fire to climate change only later to be proven wrong.
