The COP30 summit has always been a joke losing relevance over time. However, the conference was going to be magnificent but most of the major world leaders didn’t attend.

The COP30 climate alarmism summit hosted by Brazil’s radical leftist President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva last week had the lowest attendance turnout by world leaders in the past four years, the Brazilian outlet Poder 360 reported.

..The high-level summit, hosted by Lula in the city of Belém, Pará, attracted only 31 participating heads of state out of 198 countries that sent delegations to the event.

President Donald Trump did not attend the summit or send any high-level representatives of his administration — a decision that appears to have angered some of the participating leftist heads of state, who dedicated time off their respective speeches to lash out at Trump for challenging the global climate alarmism movement.

It didn’t help that a wide path through the rainforest was cleared to build a four-lane highway over 13 kilometers long, facilitating access for conference attendees.

What should be of note is that censorship was one of the agenda items as articulated by Brazil’s alleged president.

Addressing the conference, President Lula said “COP30 will be the COP of truth” in an era of “fake news and misrepresentation” and “rejection of scientific evidence”.

Without naming President Trump, President Lula continued, “they control the algorithms, sow hatred and spread fear”.

“It’s time to inflict a new defeat on the deniers,” he said.

Lula’s mention of algorithms seems aimed at Artificial Intelligence. Large-scale data centers demand reliable, efficient, and affordable energy. Environmentalists appear to be targeting major tech companies that have accepted the practical constraints of physics and Earth’s geological record.
