Climate scientist Michael Mann, a former University of Pennsylvania professor, said in a Friday interview on Pete Dominick’s Stand Up! With Pete that Senate Democrats should have to pass a litmus test of supporting Supreme Court expansion. He argued that Democrats winning back Congress would not, by itself, be enough to advance climate regulation.
During March of last year, Mann was punished by D.C. Superior Court Judge Alfred S. Irving after ruling that he and his lawyers presented inaccurate grant-loss numbers to the jury in his defamation case against two bloggers. Irving described that conduct as an affront to the Court’s authority.
