A gay, vegan food truck owner named Avonte Hartsfield alleged his food truck was defaced before being set on fire last year. Hartsfield said the vandalism and destruction of his truck was the result of a hate crime only for him to be subsequently arrested by police and charged with arson and insurance fraud.
