PETA tries to pitch CGI cat video as real

People for the Extortion, Torture and Abuse of human beings (PETA) recently released a video of a cat allegedly being abused by its owner as part of an effort to highlight alleged abuse of animals used in circuses. The problem is that the video itself is fake in which an alert reporter at Mashable called them out on it. You can see the video for yourself below and their ridiculous, half-hearted explanation why. PETA and other animal rights groups are notorious for releasing edited or misleading videos showing animal abuse. Now they are revealing another way they can spread lies.
