Could you imagine 1500 carbon dioxide emitting private jets carrying politicians, bureaucrats and other politically connected virtue signalers descending on the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland to discuss climate change? According to Fortune, that is exactly the amount that landed and that they are getting larger and more expensive.

Furthermore, Climate Change Dispatch advises 1500 is 200 more jets from last year and also points out that the trend is toward even larger, more expensive jets. The conference itself will be attended by business, government, international aid, academia, arts and culture, and the media. President Donald Trump cancelled his attendance due to events surrounding the government shut down.

Ironically, Sir David Attenborough, who is slated to be a lead speaker at the Davos Conference this year, stays that climate change is the issue of our time. And just how did he manage to travel to the gathering? No doubt many of the attendees decided to use large jets because they only care about other people’s carbon footprint, don’t care about theirs or probably invest in Al Gore’s carbon offset scheme in order to justify their carbon dioxide spewing travel. They’re nothing more than a disgusting bunch of hypocrites.
