A George Soros-connected group called Accountable U.S. is demanding GoDaddy investigate and de-platform websites the company it hosts or is internet Registrar that may somehow be linked to the Capitol Hill riot that took place early last month. From The Hill:
“The investigation stems from a report by the nonprofit group Accountable.US which found that the company is the registrar for eight groups that were involved in activities leading up to the Jan. 6 riot.
A spokesperson for GoDaddy told The Hill that it is now looking into those connections, and stressed that using its service to “promote, encourage or engage in violence” violates company policies.
“If content goes beyond the exercise of expression and crosses over to inciting violence, we will take appropriate action,” the spokesperson added.
Accountable.US’s report, first obtained by The Hill, found that the online store of the right-wing militia group Oath Keepers is hosted by GoDaddy, which also serves as the site’s domain registrar.”
Nine members of the Oath Keepers have been charged in connection with last month’s violence. According to The Hill, GoDaddy also hosts the websites of right-leaning groups such as Turning Point U.S.A. and Women For America First. Not surprisingly, Accountable U.S. is scolding GoDaddy for hosting the websites of organizations like them.
However, no one from either Turning Point U.S.A. nor Women For America First have been charged in connection with the Capitol Hill violence. But facts mean nothing since the left is ultimately seeking to destroy their opposition. Accountable U.S. claims to be non-partisan, but a quick search on Activist Facts reveals they are the exact opposite:
“It turns out Accountable.Us is merely a new iteration of a dark money web based in Washington, D.C. that is funded by a range of liberal special interests under the New Venture Fund (NVF) umbrella. NVF’s leadership and staff have a multitude of ties to liberal politicians and causes.
According to its website, Accountable.Us is a conglomeration of three existing dark money campaigns: Allied Progress, Restore Public Trust, and the Western Values Project.
All three of these campaigns are projects of the New Venture Fund, a $394 million dark money hub that has launched hundreds of similar projects. Accountable.Us simply appears to be a new layer—but it is still a project of the New Venture Fund.”
The left only opposes dark money when it doesn’t benefit them. But when it does, they have no problem using it. Charities connected to George Soros are one of the founders and major contributors to the New Venture Fund. Some of the NVF’s board members include environmentalists and some green groups back NVF as well.
Otherwise, GoDaddy’s effort is nothing more than a campaign to hunt down pro-Trump groups in order to silence them.
