Dr. Paul Marik is the world’s expert on treating sepsis and has been mostly successful in treating late-stage coronavirus patients who’s symptoms are similar to the infection. He was recently ordered by his employer, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, to stop his efforts finding out later that by not following federal protocols would cause the hospital not to get paid by the Center for Medicare Services.

Dr. Marik is now suing his employer saying that their doing so violates Virginia law. Government denying doctors the ability to prescribe and treat patients with life threatening illnesses is tantamount to an execution without the normal legal processes.
