Remember and Never Forget 9/11

In light of present circumstances regarding the unfortunate passing of Queen Elizabeth II, this is a fitting tribute to both countries. Two days after the September 11th Islamic terrorist attacks and in an act of solidarity, Newsweek points out on two occasions Her Majesty ordered the playing of the Star Spangled Banner at Buckingham Palace prior to the Changing of the Guard ceremony and also ordered a memorial service held for victims of the 9/11 attacks at Saint Paul’s Cathedral where the Battle Hymn of the Republic was sung during the service.

Queen Elizabeth II was also kind enough to have America’s National Anthem played during the Twentieth Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks at Windsor Castle.

God save the Queen.
