Three years ago, the town of Nederland, Colorado passed a resolution backed by an environmentalist group named Save The World’s Rivers granting legal rights to local water ways in the town’s jurisdiction. Just recently, town leaders experienced a crimp in their efforts at virtue signaling when reality smacked them in their faces in light of the Centennial State’s water crisis. Not surprisingly, The Colorado Sun says environmentalists are not happy.
