Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (aka MTG) posted this on X last week, prompting a fierce backlash from both the Left and many on the Right.

Not only was MTG’s post community noted, she was also ridiculed, and had her intelligence questioned. Even Joe Biden referred to her claims during a televised speech about right-wing disinformation related to hurricanes Helene and Milton.

Oddly enough, 11 years ago, CBS News aired this segment discussing successful efforts scientists have conducted with weather modification experiments. This being done in order to combat climate change.

Two years ago, scientists at Khalifa University of Science and Technology in Dubai made great strides in cloud seeding using nanotechnology and, to top it all off, last year the Biden White House signaled its willingness to look into weather modification methods to control sunlight in order to mitigate (you guessed it) climate change.

A research document published on the White House website reveals the Biden administration is open to studying how to block sunlight to save the Earth from climate change. 

The congressionally mandated report released by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy on Friday shows that the team has been researching “geoengineering” methods to keep the sun rays from accelerating global warming.

As the University of Oxford notes in its entry on the subject, “geoengineering” is “the deliberate large-scale intervention in the Earth’s natural systems to counteract climate change.

Though I think it unlikely, in my view, the jury is still out on whether or not the federal government can control the weather including whether or not they had some role in the development of hurricanes Helene and Milton.

However, geoengineering is possible and, as far as the Left is concerned, they are the only party in the political arena allowed to spin conspiracy theories and only the science they support or can politicize is valid. However, if there are efforts to find way to control weather, it won’t be to mitigate human-caused climate change. The Left hates the idea that their opposition can be smarter or more knowledgeable than them, including when their schemes are exposed.
