Politico reports President Trump has directed the USDA to eliminate all climate change propaganda from their websites by the end of business day on Friday (yesterday).

This clearly being done to head off what was revealed in a New York Times article and a Project Veritas video released in early December where a senior EPA advisor disclosed to an undercover reporter that they were channeling billions of dollars to climate organizations as a way to Trump-proof Biden’s climate-related policies.

Politico says that employees at the Agriculture Department have been instructed to remove webpages that discuss climate change from various agency sites and to compile a list of climate change references for additional scrutiny.

As it turns out, Politico also reveals that Biden’s Under Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack used the agency to allocate $3.1 billion to the Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities initiative, collaborating with private food companies, nonprofits, and universities to explore methods for reducing agricultural carbon emissions, enhancing crop resilience, and land restoration. However, an executive order from Trump aimed at climate-related expenditures in the IRA resulted in temporarily halting funding for this program.

Although the deadline for removing content by the end of day has technically expired, at least one USDA site related to climate change, the USDA Climate Hub, remains operational.
