Michael Crichton on environmentalism as a religion

Author Michael Crichton answers a question posed to him during the question and answer part of an appearance he made. He makes a lot of good points and I would further add that what makes environmentalism a religion isn’t just its follower’s worship of nature, but also the morality of self-sacrifice (i.e. altruism) it advocates for.
