I think this video is worth another look. French philosopher Pascal Bruckner gave a talk during 2013 at the British House of Lords sponsored by the Global Warming Policy Foundation. His talk is based on his new book, The Fanaticism of the Apocalypse: Save the Earth, Punish Human Beings. Pascal Bruckner was part of a pro-Enlightenment effort in French philosophical circles to take on and refute postmodernist philosophers in his country, respectfully. He is introduced by Benny Peiser with concluding remarks from Nigel Lawson.
