Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul took pot shots at Anthony Fauci again after a previous exchange the two had during May when Paul confronted Dr. Anthony Fauci on the revealed gain of function research the National Institutes of Health funded through a nonprofit on coronaviruses that Fauci approved of at the Wuhan Institute of VIrology.
Worst of all, the president’s chief medical adviser knew of gain of function research being conducted as far back as 2012 and initially denied any gain of function experiments were being conducted nor funded by his agency. All Fauci did when confronted by Senator Paul was act flabbergasted, call the Kentucky Senator a liar, and would not answer any of the substantive points Paul raised during questioning. Fauci controls all of the funding at his agency, the National Institutes of Allergy & Infectious Disease (NIAID), and is morally culpable in all of this.
