Last year, a British Eco-Terrorist group called Tyre Extinguishers conducted a campaign to slash tires across England. This effort soon caught on in the United States and the group’s vandalism expanded nationwide.

Tyre Extinguishers’ said that they want to hit the car industry where it hurts is nothing more than a cruel joke and deflection at best. After a hiatus, the tire vandals are back and vandalized over 40 SUV’s in the Boston-area complete including notes left on people’s cars with snide, sneering remarks. The car industry will benefit from the new money they receive from people who had their tires slashed while generating more carbon emissions resulting from drivers traveling to have their tires replaced.
