During the most recent episode of comedian Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast, Maher and cartoonist Seth MacFarlane debated the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccine mandates, how effective the immunizations are as opposed to natural immunity. It was an interesting exchange and Bill Maher deserves credit for his schooling MacFarlane and other times he’s defended free speech. Simultaneously, Maher is somewhat responsible for aiding wokeness among the culture at large.
Ultimately, it didn’t help the entertainment industry, much less the political left overall, when they claimed that the abortion issue was about not enacting laws on women’s bodies (i.e. my body, my choice), but sanctioning forcing people to get COVID-19 vaccinations. The coronavirus vaccine was a tool like natural immunity, hydroxychloroquine and ivermectine and the coronavirus was not a serious enough disease to warrant such drastic action.
