Turning Point USA head Charlie Kirk was murdered this afternoon, having been shot while participating in a TPUSA event held at Utah Valley University (UVU) in Orem, Utah.

It was obvious that this was a well planned assassination. Earlier today, someone was spotted on the roof of a UVU building not far from where Kirk was speaking dressed in black laying in a kind is sniper posture.

This also fits a pattern that the would-be assassin in Pennsylvania, Matthew Crooks, used when he plotted his effort to kill Trump.

Consequently, numerous termites have crawled out of the woodwork only to have the spotlight put on them.

The Left has incited violence against Trump and his supporters for years. Here are some examples.

What is fascinating is Kirk correctly warned us of what was coming.

The tragedy of Charlie Kirk’s death was enough to garner a passionate, heartfelt commemoration by President Trump. The President also used the occasion to announce his administration will not only focus on tracking down anyone who was involved in Kirk’s assassination but also target groups who fund and support political violence.

It is about time something was done to stop groups involved in supporting political violence. It is also a shame it seemingly took the death of a prominent or high profile personality, like Charlie Kirk, for Trump to finally make it a priority.

However, the economy was obviously Trump’s primary focus from the start and he has dismantled much of the Left’s infrastructure to where the tools they could use to block him are limited. Unfortunately, Charlie Kirk’s death is not only a reminder that the US is in a civil war, but also to never underestimate your opponent’s determination. The Left may be down, but they’re not out.

Rest in peace, Charlie. Hopefully, whoever took your life will be brought to justice soon.
