Earth Day Founder Ira Einhorn is Dead. Good!

Earth Day founder Ira Einhorn died in prison Friday. From NBC Philadelphia:

“A former hippie guru who lived the high life in Europe for years after murdering his ex-girlfriend in Philadelphia in the 1970s has died in prison.

Ira Einhorn, 79, died early Friday in a state prison in western Pennsylvania of natural causes, according to Susan McNaughton, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Corrections. The death at SCI-Laurel Highlands was not related to the COVID-19 virus, she said.”

Einhorn’s claim that he founded Earth Day made him very popular with environmentalists. He practiced what he preached by composting the body of his girlfriend, Holly Maddux, whom he murdered in 1977.

Despite Einhorn’s being caught, some of his defenders who appeared at a trial hearing refused to believe he did anything wrong. But while in Europe, where Einhron fled to escape prosecution for his crime, he was not only supported financially by Leftist friends, Einhorn even asked some entertainers (like Peter Gabriel, Ellen Burstyn and Kevin Bacon’s dad, Edward) to attest to his (ahem) good character during his 2002 murder trial after he was extradited from France.

Like Charles Manson, Ira Einhorn reflected the true, violent nature of environmentalism. It is also no coincidence that Earth Day was founded on the same day of Communist leader and mass murderer Vladimir Lenin’s birthday. Like environmentalism, and in the spirit of Ira Einhorn, Communism has committed some of the worst humanitarian crimes in human history and environmentalism is not far behind in meeting or exceeding the death totals of their ideological cousins.

Goodbye and good riddance!
