At a Bakersfield, California city council meeting last week, an environmentalist named Riddhi Patel was arrested after issuing death threats to council members during remarks she gave regarding a cease-fire resolution.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time Patel has acted in a hostile manner toward city officials either.

According to the KGET, Patel was a development coordinator with the environmentalist Center on Race, Poverty and the Environment and she helped establish a local Sunrise Movement Chapter too. As a result of her threats, she now faces 18 felony counts in which which she has plead not guilty to all of the charges.

Patel was no unhinged lunatic and there’s no excuse for her conduct. The Sunrise Movement is well known to recruit young people and her actions mirror the hatred of other environmentalists (like Charles Manson). At some point in her political journey, from Bernie Sanders supporter to revolutionary, she obviously drank the Kool Aid of her teachers to eventually embrace violence, in this case against Jews.
