The stupid. It hurts.

A group of climate activists from Sweden, Norway and Germany have filed a class action lawsuit against the Swedish state, arguing that its increasingly harsh crackdown on climate protests violates freedom of expression and the right to protest.

“Few of us are continuing to demonstrate,” Viktor Jonsson, spokesman for the 46 plaintiffs, said, according to the TT news agency. He noted that those that do are taken to court, fined, charged and even sentenced to prison.

Since 2020, 388 climate activists have been “suspected, charged and, in most cases, convicted” of 26 different offences – including trespass and sabotage, a statement said.

Trespassing and conducting sabotage is not peacefully protesting, it is terrorism and nothing more. Not surprisingly, Pippi Longstocking … er … Greta Thunberg even joined these hoodlums previous lawsuit at one point. Fortunately, they lost and, hopefully, they’ll lose attempting this lawfare too. If they win, in theory, they can go right back to conducting terrorism again.
