The Daily Caller caught up with EPA head Andrew Wheeler at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) earlier this month and discussed a variety of issues including the agency’s use of secret science. This would allow the EPA to use non-public scientific information when the agency is culminating and even justifying its environmental rules.
Mr. Wheeler’s predecessor, Scott Pruitt, wanted to do away with this practice but, unfortunately, Pruitt had to resign last year due to ethical controversies. Opponents of the change did raise concerns that Pruitt’s change would reveal health and business information, but supporters responded that they were unfounded. Thankfully Wheeler is committed to implementing Scott Pruitt’s rule change.
